"The following images were taken on the Princess "Denali Explorer" - Land & Sea Tour of Alaska in October 2012. Flying into Fairbanks to begin the land portion of the tour we were transferred to the Fairbanks Princess Lodge for an overnight stay. The following morning we boarded our tour bus and drove to the Denali Princess Lodge. In the afternoon we toured Denali National Park. On day 3 we headed South to the McKinley Princess Lodge for a 2 night stay. The view of Denali from the deck of the main lodge was breath taking! Day 6 we drove to Talkeetna to board the Alaskan Railway Train to Whittier. We enjoyed lunch and the scenery on the way. Arriving in Whittier after a brief check-in, we boarded our Ship, the "Island Princess", to embark on our cruise. Our journey would take us out thru the Prince William Sound to the Hubbard Glacier, Gulf of Alaska to Glacier Bay National Park, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and our final stop Vancouver"
