Alberta home to the "Canadian Rockies" is an incredibly beautiful, rugged and amazingly vast area. Banff National Park located in Alberta is Canada's first national park, established in 1885. We came to Banff to tour and photograph the Rockies. Nearby Johnson Canyon, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Spectacular mountains, pure glacial streams and pristine Alpine meadows.
Our initial plan was to drive the Transcanada Highway & Route 93 to Jasper and capture the scenery along the way. The shear size and scale of this area is simply astounding. Due to the vast distances, we soon realized we would need a lot more time. A mobile home and a couple of months just might do it!
