Kyle of Lochalsh is a village located on the northwest coast of Scotland at the entrance to Loch Alsh. The Skye Bridge built here in 1995 crosses the Inner Sound to connect the village of Kyleakin on Skye with the mainland.
This is a very pretty area which provides easy access to the Isle of Skye and is very close to the Eilean Donan Castle.
The Balmacara "crofting village" is nearby. This traditional Highland crofting estate is a diverse mix of Scotland's most beautiful landscapes and is well worth a visit.
