Images of Las Vegas

In 1974, we stayed in the Riviera. Dressed in suits, we walked thru the hot evening desert air, entered the air-conditioned casino floor and a beautiful waitress offered us a smile, cigarettes and a drink on the house. The shows were fantastic. Don Rickles, Wayne Newton, Dianna Ross. We saw the Everly Brothers at the Landmark. I slipped the manager a twenty and he gave us a table right against the stage.

We returned in 2006 and I didn't recognize the place. Things change, but that first visit was a memory I'll never forget! Las Vegas will always be Vegas, so book yourself on a junket, cruise the "Strip", see a Headliner and remember the golden days of the "Ratpack" - Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr..

By the way, the top chiefs are all here, the accommodations are spectacular and the shows today are fantastic, some of the best talent performing today is working hard everyday at one of the Casino Hotels. Don't miss it! The images shown here are from 2016. We stayed at the Aladdin which is now also gone!
