Images of Mykonos

"The Island of Mykonos is part of the archipelago of Greece known as the Cyclades. Frequented by the "Jet Set", bright sunlight reflects off of brilliant white washed houses and the sparkling blue Aegean Sea.

Windmills built on Mykonos in the 16th century were used to grind wheat for bread. They are driven by the "Meltemi" a hot dry wind that blows out of the Balkans.

The Greek Islands are a major tourist attraction and they are very crowded in season. All of the major cruise lines stop here for a breif visit and I think that a cruiseship provides a great way to see the islands. We came here aboard the "Grand Princess" which is a spectacular and beautifull ship.
